Actually, there's very few of the two of us... but hey, they're funny anyway.

*NEW* DEBBIE'S SHOWER PHOTOS:

FINALLY, some FRESH photos... Miss K was good enough to take a bunch of photos at Debbie's Wedding Shower on July 9th.  For the guys, I guess this will give you a *peek* into what crazy girls DO at these types of events!  And for the ladies who couldn't make it, we're sure these pics are going to make you wish you were there!!

We'll start with the LEAST embarrassing ones first!
Here's May with her best gal pal Peggy Mason - Actually, now we call her "Pegs"!

Here's a photo of everyone! Or, actually, just those people that Kim could get in the picture who happened to be sitting on the couches at that moment.  Two unfortunate points about this photo: First, this picture makes it look as if we were all sitting there STARING at the fan! Which we ONLY did for about 10 minutes...
And NO, Jeanne did not bring her garbage bag - that bag is full of wrapping paper!

I'm sure you all have at some point played or heard of playing the WONDERFUL party contest/game where people get to make wedding dresses out of TOILET PAPER!  Well, this party was no exception... so, here are some LOVELY photos of the Toilet Paper Couture Models and their designers! Ooo! La LA!

Joan posing in her model stance so that designers Janet, Louise, and Sharon can begin their magic!

This group really started out strong -with a great concept. Their look is kind of ethnic (sort of Korean/sort of Japanese, maybe?) and throw in a little dash of military- Gestapo-uniform - tres chic!

Designers: Michele, Marcie, and Laura  Model: Lily

WOW! Are you ready for this ACTION SHOT!?! These designers were just a FLURRY of activity around their model, Susan.

Designers: Dottie, Hilda, and - yes, that blur in the middle is my neighbor, Jessie.  Plus, May - running through the scene.

I'm sure Melissa thought she looked just as wonderful in this toilet paper creation as on her actual wedding day. :)

Designers: Jen (not pictured... LUCKY!), Liz and Dara look on to see how else they can improve on absolute perfection!

Group #2 was not the winner, but they made a valiant effort - with special kudos to their model, Lily! What a good sport.

Ta Da! Here's the END product! And to just give you an idea... THIS is also the dress that I picked as the WINNER! Why? Because of it's a FABULOUS 80s style frock - and because Joan looks so cute and happy in it.

GIFTS! GIFTS! GIFTS! GIFTS! - here's the pics - GIFTS! GIFTS! GIFTS! GIFTS!

Jeff is so lucky, he gets to reap the benefits of the shower without suffering any of the embarrassment!  Well, there will be plenty of time at the wedding to take care of that! :)

How cute is that pot-holder in the shape of a dog's little head?!

Almost looks like I'm ready to do some COOKING huh?...

ALMOST!

Laura gave me this darling little cookbook full of secret recipes for homemade treats passed down by her family and friends - recipes to ensure a happy and tasty marriage.
Awww...

After she explained the story of the recipe book, there was weeping in the room!  Along with the recipe book was a subscription to the great cooking magazine, "Saveur."
Boy - Jeff is going to be busy with all this cooking he's going to do. :)

This little gift was from Janet -  trying to get me in trouble and mortify me... hey! What are best friends for?!

(This photo looked fine before it was condensed for this website. Suddenly, Dottie and I have crazy expressions on our faces.)

Mmmm... towels! Soft towels from Dara and Erin - very good!

Louise, Sharon, Janet (hiding), Joan (back in her own clothes after the wedding dress contest - ha ha) and meee!

That's it! THANKS to ALL the wonderful ladies who came to my shower - especially the ones who unfortunately may have gotten pictured on this website....You gals are the BEST!!

After all those LADIES pictures, here's some pretty special GUYS... First, Jeff and his bro, Joel

And second, the CUTEST little thing... Debbie's little nephew TOBEY! Here he is at 9 mos.

Some crazy zoo in Thailand married these two pandas. These are pics of people in panda suits, but there were also REAL pandas they married! Crazy Thais!

Jeff didn't want me to include this pic... but heh! Who's the one building this website, anyway!?

More Thai panda wedding pics.

Married pandas eating their wedding cake...

Thai wedding ceremony for pandas. Why are they sitting on a couch in the middle of the zoo?!

American Gothic by Grant Wood - and like Jeff, he's from Iowa! I think this is made out of corn.  I also think Jeff is made out of corn!

This was from one of our first road trips together. We went to visit Meesh in Monterey - before she flew off to Hong Kong! Funny, it doesn't  LOOK like we're going to kill each other, yet... :)

Cute kitten couple!  Minmei and Chee-to (my cats) would never sit still for that!

Awww.... we like this one because the dogs look like Wally (Gary and Ann's dog).

This is marriage in the animal kingdom!

This one is a little goofy.... We look like we're taking a prom photo! This is actually at a office holiday party.

Please come back to see more pics - we are adding more! - as soon as I can get Jeff to "sanction" some other ones!
